Konstantinos Mavroeidis is a Council of the State and Supreme Court Attorney. Since 1992, he has headed his own law firm in Athens. He has participated mostly in criminal trials, some of which have gained considerable interest in Greece, e.g. the Helios Airways Flight 522 case, the Marfin Bank arson attack case, the TT Hellenic Postbank case, and the disastrous flood of Mandra Attica case.
He has also participated in important trials at the European Court of Human Rights and in the Greek Committee for the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
He was an Associate in the legal protection sector of the Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights from 1991 to 2003. He was also an Associate at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, in the capacity of the Border Monitory from 2002 to 2005.
Member of the Legal Department of the Greek Council for Refugees (GCR) from 2001 to 2005. President of the Board of Directors of the GCR from 2016 to 2019. Member of the Group of Experts for the Correction of the Cypriot Democracy Legislation in the sector of Political Asylum and the harmonization of laws with the Acquis Communautaire.
